We thought it was a good idea to gift our fans with a recipe that can help you cool down during the summer. So we’re happy to share the recipe for our Chocolate Ice Cream with Quest Candy Bites. It takes a little time to get this recipe going if you’re going to properly freeze your ice cream maker canister, but once you take that first spoonful topped with our Candy Bites…hoo boy, we’ll let you find out for yourself.

Yields: 8 servings |  Serving Size: about 1/4 cup

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time / Chill Time : 20-30 minutes | Total Time: 55 minutes (+24 hour bowl freeze time)




  1. *24 hours prior to preparing this recipe, place your ice cream maker canister in the freezer*
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, yogurt, protein powder, cocoa powder and sweetener until smooth.
  3. Have your ice cream maker ready to go with your frozen canister and pour the mixture inside.
  4. Churn the ice cream for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once the mixture has thickened to a soft serve texture, add in the candy bites and churn until incorporated.
  6. Serve immediately or place the mixture into a container and freeze.
  7. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving.
