Keke Palmer is still reaping the rewards of her pregnancy. After announcing her pregnancy in December, Palmer shared the “secret” to clearer skin: “get knocked up.” Now, she’s crediting her son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, born on Feb. 25, for a full-body transformation. “Hips? NEVER HAD EM’! Boobs? Never had em’! Booty? BARELY. Thanks son,” Palmer captioned an Instagram post on April 7.

The post featured a behind-the-scenes clip of Palmer getting ready for what appears to be a photo shoot. Standing in front of a vanity, she shared a look at her figure one month after giving birth. “Last time I spoke to y’all, I was letting y’all know that my son cleared my skin up. Skin is still skinning,” Palmer said with the camera zoomed in on her face. “And now I’m about to let y’all know that he gave me something else: b-b-body! Down!” As the clip continued to roll, Palmer zoomed in on her hips and chest, turning to showcase her curves. “Get into it,” she said. “Get into it ’cause period.”

Fans and celebrity friends quickly joined Palmer in celebrating her postpartum body. “bawdy DOWNNNN,” Chlöe wrote in the comments section. Singer and reality star Kandi Burruss added, “That body is BODY-ING!”

Though many moms worry about “bouncing back” from their postpartum bodies, Palmer is one of many celebrity moms embracing their body’s natural changes. In November, Rihanna, who gave birth to her first child in May 2022, celebrated her postpartum figure. “Oh yeah, girl, it changed,” she told InStyle of her favorite body part. “I guarantee you it changed. I had a baby! Let’s be real. Now it’s my booty — because I got one.”

Since welcoming her son with her partner, Darius Jackson, Palmer has publicly been celebrating the joys of motherhood. “And to think! Just last April fools I ‘joked’ about being preggers,” she captioned a video of herself with Leodis on April 2. “We manifested you little buddy!”
