Ingredients
PEANUT BUTTER DONUTS
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp gluten free flour
- 2 tbsp zero calorie sweetener
- ½ scoop Quest Peanut Butter Protein Powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ¼ cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 2 tbsp 0% Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Frosting:
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a 2.5” donut mold pan with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, stir together the flours, sweetener, protein, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, peanut butter, yogurt, egg, egg white and vanillauntil smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet and use a rubber spatula to combine.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill 7 donut cavities with an even amount of batter. Bake the donuts for 16-18 minutes. Let cool.
- Once cooled, melt the chocolate and butter together until smooth.
- Dip each donut into the chocolate and then top with crushed candies. Chill until chocolate is solid.
