Every day, I look forward to my long walk after work — it’s a stress-reliever for me, and I enjoy the fresh air. The truth is, I love getting dressed in cute activewear almost as much as I like the walk itself. I have tons of fun workout sets, but right now, my hands-down favorite is this StretchTech Color-Block Half-Zip Jacket ($55) and High-Waisted StretchTech Water-Resistant Shorts ($24, originally $30). The quality is unbelievably impressive, and the design is a dupe for a much more expensive brand design I love. Honestly, I can’t believe these pieces don’t cost more. I’m so obsessed with the terracotta-pink set, I bought it in teal-green as well.
The bottom of the jacket has a drawstring on either side, so you can wear it straight down or cropped. The pockets on both the shorts and top are lined with a very nice netting — plus, they’re deep enough for my phone, keys, and even a small wallet. Even though the fabric is described as “water resistant,” it’s not stiff or loud; it’s a softer fabric that’s comfy enough to lounge in. Everything fits true to size — I’m wearing a large in both the top and bottom, which is typically what I go for. It you’d like the shorts to be a little tighter, you can go a size down.
Would I Recommend This Old Navy StretchTech Activewear Set?
I can’t say enough good things about these shorts and pullover — I think the proof is that I bought it in two colors! From the quality to the fit, this set is worth way more than what it’s being sold for. The colors are fun, I feel comfortable, and the design is perfect for spring. I have a feeling these pieces will sell out quickly, so get them while you can. I hope it comes in even more colors soon!
